hawaii pictureParadise Unit Receives CMA Music Video of the Year Nomination; A Picture Vision Video for Sara Evans' ``Born to Fly'' Has Been Nominated for ``Music Video of the Year'' Entertainment Editors NEW YORK--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Sept. 5, 2001 Paradise Music & Entertainment, Inc. (OTC BB: PDSE) (BSE: PMU), a provider of entertainment content and services, announced that its Picture Vision unit, a wholly owned subsidiary, has received a nomination from the Country Music Association for "Music Video of the Year" for its work on the Sara Evans' "Born to Fly" music video. Paradise Chairman and CEO Mr. Kelly Hickel said: "We are very proud of the work produced at Picture Vision and wanted to take this opportunity to let our shareholders know about the quality of work produced by their company. I also want to highlight some of the recent activities of Picture Vision which I have done below." Picture Vision Director Mr. Peter Zavadil shot the latest Sara Evans clip, "Couldn't Ask For More." The clip was Country Music Television's (CMT) "Hot Shot." Sara Evans received 5 Country Music Association awards to be held November 7 in Nashville. Zavadil also directed the new Keith Urban video, "Where the Blacktop Ends" with a 30-second promo of the video, shot for the upcoming ACM awards. Zavadil's two videos for the band Trick Pony "On A Night Like This" and "Pour Me," were just nominated for this year's Billboard Music Video Awards for "Country Music Videos of the Year." Picture Vision Director Ms. Trey Fanjoy (last year's Billboard's winner for "Best Music Video Director") directed one of country's favorite performers -- Mark Wills' "Lovin' Every Minute," which enjoyed a "World Premier" on CMT. Fanjoy also shot the latest Tamara Walker clip, "Angel Eyes," to be released in September, as well as a new Charlie Robison clip, "Right Man For The Job," another September release. Fanjoy's latest Brooks & Dunn "Ain't Nothing About You" video garnered CMT's "World Premieres" and "Hot Shot" titles. Fanjoy directed "When I Think About Angels," the new Jamie O'Neal video. The clip was shot on the back lots of Universal Studios with real and digitally composed butterflies. In addition, Fanjoy directed the new Chely Wright clip "Never Love You Enough," which was beautifully captured in Oahu, Hawaii. Picture Vision Director Mr. Michael Salomon, following his nomination for ACM's "Video of the Year" for Toby Keith's (Country Music's "Male Entertainer of the Year") "You Shouldn't Kiss Me Like This," in which Terry Bradshaw makes a comedic guest appearance in this tribute to man's foolishness when it comes to women, also directed Toby Keith in a hilarious performance in "I Wanna Talk About Me," a spoof on men's reaction to women's constant chatter. Lonestar, the band whose albums have been certified triple platinum and gold, teamed up with Salomon to shoot their latest video "I'm Already There." The clip enjoyed a "World Premier" on CMT. Picture Vision Director Mr. Shaun Silva directed the latest Darryl Worley video. Silva took his team on a shrimp boat for what proved to be a very windy but beautifully captured footage of "Second Wind," which earned the clip a "Hot Shot" spot on CMT's list. Silva also shot the 30-second Rascal Flatts promo at the Ocean Way Studios for ACM. Billy Gillman's latest video "Elizabeth," which Shaun directed, is currently in heavy rotation. The video was filmed in various locations including New York, Paris and even at the great pyramids of Egypt. Picture Vision Director Mr. Jim Hershleder is filming opening sequences for a new Showtime series, "Going To California." Picture Vision Director and President Mr. Jon Small directs the very successful CMT Specials entitled "On The Verge." The one-hour series, which airs approximately every six weeks, documents the career development of artists on the verge of star status. This month the featured artists include Charlie Robison and the very talented Australian-born country singer Jamie O'Neal. Small is currently editing the special, which will premier the first week of September, and is working on the next "On The Verge" show, to be taped in the next few weeks. This series follows the very successful "All Access" series which was produced by Jon Small and aired monthly on CMT, featuring country's top entertainers such as Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Lee Ann Rimes, Wynonna and many others. Small also just directed Sony Music's Cleddus T Judd's latest video "Plowboy." For press information on Picture Vision directors, contact Jeanine Lust at 615/244-2060.
